Maximum Throughput Systems is building a NewSQL database for that shift — distributed ACID and modern query planning under familiar Cassandra and DynamoDB-compatible interfaces. We believe enterprises should not have to choose between migration compatibility and modern architecture, or between operational simplicity and the performance required by AI-era workloads.

Conrad Chan is one of the founders of Maximum Throughput Systems, a company rethinking how data infrastructure should be built for the next generation of applications.

A serial entrepreneur with experience running five successful businesses, Conrad has spent years close to operational environments where speed, uptime, and reliability determine whether the business can scale.

That experience shaped the vision for MTS: a NewSQL database that gives teams a pragmatic migration path while preparing their data layer for AI-native demand.
